During this incredibly trying and difficult time, The Garrison and Dandelion Catering have made the painfully emotional decision to close our doors during the pandemic.

We feel it is the best decision for our team to remain at home and stay safe.

Their safety, and yours, is so important. 

With that being said - Chef will begin a solo operation to provide the community with fresh meals, grocery items, and staples for as long as possible. 

The kitchen is locked down and Chef will be the only one within the facility. We feel this is paramount to keeping everyone safe, and the best way to continue to provide a service. Orders will simply be placed online and picked up on our porch. No contact. 

Stay safe and look out for each other.

Parking:

There is plenty of private, onsite parking at the Sparhawk Mill for our guests. Handicapped spots are available, as well as a ramp to the door, and lowered ADA bar.

Chef / Owner
Christian Hayes
Over a decade after they launched Dandelion Catering, Maine natives Christine and Christian Hayes built The Garrison, an intimate dining room and bar surrounded by the rushing Royal River on both sides.
 
Chef Christian Hayes and his team serve his brand of "thoughtful food" inspired by Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.
Since day one, outside the dining room lies an ever growing garden that is planted, managed, and harvested by Mike. Besides his touch in the kitchen, Mike brings a wealth of agricultural knowledge that will allow The Garrison's garden program to grow bigger with each season. Mike credits most of his achievements to the 1996 Sega Saturn multi-genre game, Mr. Bones.  
As is the case with Mike, Jay has been an integral part of The Garrison kitchen since months before the doors opened. He brings a wealth of experience, from corporate hotels to independent restaurants. He prides himself in beginning each day with, eyes closed, two consecutive listens to multi-Grammy award winning Smooth by Carlos Santana featuring Rob Thomas from Matchbox Twenty.
